Believers in Israel are called Messianic Jews.  They believe that Jesus is the promised Jewish Messiah.  The Hebrew name for Jesus is “Yeshua” and the word for Christ or the Messiah is “Ha Mashiach”.  So “Yeshua Ha Mashiach” is Hebrew for Jesus the Christ.

It’s not easy to be a believer in Israel.  They’re surrounded by countries hostile to them, looked down on by their own people, and often ostracized by their families.  As a citizen of Israel, you’ve surrendered your life to Jesus, life can become very difficult.
